A Testament Against Bliss
God only knows the paths and twists,
A remnant to stray in the minds they speak,
And awaken to shame the demoralizing list,
Your ways to walk and you shall ever seek.
But we all know his eyes do see,
And yet refraining from advice,
For your blissful arrogance is a plea,
A desperate cry to break the ice,
A longing underneath to wish to see,
To see the things that make you free,
Grasp the truths above the lies,
And finally see into his eyes,
To break the shackles of your idiocy,
Jump and for the first time succeed to fly.
It will not come unless he says,
Speaks it true and speaks it through..
Reach into you; Pierce the haze,
We all knew and watched as your failure grew,
And blinded you in its maze!
Help would come if you bent your knee,
Or at least didn't strike her back,
An open mind is that simple key,
What more could you possibly lack?
A dissapointment to most,
And the rest are but fools,
They make a worthless host,
And boring tools,
For what good is a ghost,
If he follows the rules?
It will not come unless he says,
Speaks it true and speaks it through...
